Punta Gorda Isles

Punta Gorda Isles has been blessed with a tranquil lifestyle and a nearly perfect year round climate. Hundreds of miles of canals and waterways teaming with aquatic life, wind through our waterfront development bordered by lovely homes with manicured lawns, tasteful landscaping and docks with 50 ft. sailboats or 15 ft. runabouts out back.

The Isles offer both single-family and multi-family homes in the forms of condos, villas, and duplexes. Most of the properties are situated on saltwater canals that lead directly to Charlotte Harbor and then on to the Gulf of Mexico, less than an hour away by powe4rboat. The remaining home sites are spread out over two beautiful golf courses and a greenbelt area. Centrally located commercial sectors provide the services residents need most.

Our canal system is legendary. Each canal is a minimum of 100 feet wide with depths averaging at least 12 feet. The concrete seawalls are maintained by the city with an annual tax per household to ensure their continued structural integrity.

In 1996 Money Magazine in their “Best places to live” issue named Punta Gorda the best small town in America. For an unprecedented 2 additional years, Punta Gorda has continued to be ranked among the top few towns on their list.
